La is the best Thai chef in town! Everything she makes is fantastic! Service is always great!

Solid 4.5 stars, rounding up. Coconut cafe has amazing Thai food. They have adjustable heat and they're not afraid to make it HOT! Just ask for 10 chili spice level. Curries, noodles, bbq pork and papaya salad are the perfect blend of flavors and spices. Waitstaff is friendly and prompt. Clean!

Nicely sized portions, legitimate taste, and great service. I was really pleasantly surprised! If I ever pass by the area again I now know where to find good Asian food!

Super yummy! Love their pad thai, always comes out great. Sometimes they suck at answering their phone so you have to call a couple of time, but overall I always have a great experience. All the food I have tried from here has been delicious.

Hands down the best pad Thai in Merced I've tried other places and Coconut Cafe always remains #1 for pad Thai.

Super consistent!! Pretty good Thai food all the time. I've never had a bad meal here. Sometimes waits become an issue, but that is because the food is so good. Relax. Get a beer and enjoy your downtime as your meal is prepared. Prices are fair, flavors are traditional, and portions are appropriate. Coconut Cafe is busy for n good reason. I really like the panang curry with chicken or shrimp.

I ordered one large fried pork belly tray by phone 4 weeks prior. They forgot my order so I waited 40 minutes. When I received my order, they added more fried pork belly to accommodate for my wait time which was great customer service. The restaurant seemed somewhat new. It's small when entering but the restaurant extends to further back. While waiting, the inside was nice and clean. The parking lots is decent size. The pork belly was crunchy, especially the skin. Quality was great and hot/fresh. Will order again but will call in advance to make sure it's ready in time.
